How bizarre! I gave it one last try after my last posting and amazingly it resumed again... with 3 hours to run to completion (keeps fingers crossed)

It looks like it's given up. I reset the router and have tried pausing and resuming the download, but it still shows it as "Starting" and speed as 0 bytes. Maybe it did go to red and I simply didn't notice. Oh well ... time for bed. i will juts ca...

I don't recall it going red, but it definitely timed out at one point. It was half an hour ago and I have been pausing and restarting every few minutes since, but without any success. It looks like I will be starting over tomorrow night.

Darn it! After four hours the download has stopped and a number of attempts to pause and resume it have failed ..... what do I do now?

Thanks for the tips .... I had to reset the connection once already as it appeared to have stopped altogether and the result was that performance improved a lot over what it had been before.

Thanks for that. I have to confess I just set up a new folder and hoped for the best. I am getting an average speed of 70KB/s at the moment, although it was at 90 a while ago. 9 hours to go ...

First of all .... thanks ever so much for doing CCP's job for them. Second ... unfortunately I am so much of a Mac noob that at Step 7 I needed more help. It is not obvious to me where I should save the download. Can you advise me please? Thanks.

I think the fact that there isn't a single person in the Mac OS channel in EVE (except an alt of mine using a PC) should tell CCP that something is VERY seriously wrong. In an npc corp channel only one MAC client user admitted to being online.

One of my alts isn't precisely stuck, just can't use a particular (hi-sec) stargate for the last 2 hours. As it's a dead-end system I can't go around.
